Creamy Palak Paneer with Indian Flavor Co’s Chop Masala & Rojana Masala
Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
- 200g Paneer (Cubed, Raw or Fried)
- 2 cups Fresh Palak (Spinach)
- 1 tsp Edible Oil
- 1 tsp Zeera (Cumin Seeds)
Spices & Seasoning:
- 1 tsp Dhania Powder (Coriander Powder)
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Kitchen King Masala
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp Indian Flavor Co’s Chop Masala
- 2 tbsp Indian Flavor Co’s Rojana Masala
Final Touch:
- 3-4 tbsp Fresh Cream
- Water (as needed to adjust consistency)
Method
1. Prepare the Spinach Purée:
- Wash the palak (spinach) thoroughly.
- Boil the spinach for 2 minutes, then transfer it immediately into cold water to preserve its vibrant green color.
- Once cooled, blend the spinach into a smooth purée and set aside.
2. Prepare the Base:
- Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan and add zeera (cumin seeds). Let them crackle.
- Add 1 tbsp of Chop Masala and 2 tbsp of Rojana Masala to the pan, stirring well.
- Add coriander powder (dhania) and Kashmiri red chili powder, salt asper your taste. Add 2-3 tbsp of water, cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the spices to release their aroma.
- Add ½ tsp of Kitchen King Masala and mix thoroughly. Cook for another 2 minutes, ensuring the spices blend well with the masala.
- Now, add the spinach purée and cook for 5-7 minutes, letting the flavors meld together and the masalas infuse the spinach.
3. Incorporate the Paneer:
- Add the cubed paneer (either raw or fried) and gently mix it into the spinach base.
- Cook on a high flame for 1 minute, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors. If the consistency is too thick, add water a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
4. Make it Rich & Creamy:
- Add 3-4 tbsp of fresh cream and stir well to create a rich, creamy texture.
- Let it simmer for another minute, allowing the cream to blend in.
5. Garnish & Serve:
- Drizzle a little extra cream on top for garnish before serving.
- Serve hot with naan, roti, or jeera rice for a complete meal.
